Last fall, I gave up my car for a bus pass. I try to read a book a week on the bus but mostly I just avoid eye contact with other passengers.

Stephanie- Thanks! We still have the Top Gun leather jacket. The wig...I'm not so sure. I think it got lost in our move last year! ;)

ADORABLE! And so creative! Top Gun was actually the 2nd English movie I ever saw, so this costume gets a A++ in my book! My man and I are going to be Mario (me) and Luigi (him). It's going to be awesome.

I'm red-faced thinking about how many many times I've seen Top Gun.

I like to read on the subway to Seoul. It's about a 2hr trip and I always get a seat because we're first on the line.

I super heart Top Gun; I remember watching it on Sunday afternoons on Channel 13 - don't know if the channel is still around, but man that movie brings back great memories!
Great article, I was happy to see my favorite couple, Rachel and Finn, up there!

This is wonderful!!!! Love the wig. How was it to be a blonde? Did you have more fun?

Hey neighbor! I've been a bit lazy about the blogging lately, but thought it be nice to check in. This being halloween, I have to ask: how's the baby? ...I sense you're rolling your eyes now. Anyway, keep up the good reads, you totally own Oprah in the book recommending department.

Amy- Just scoped out your pix--so fantastic!

Bybee- I've seen Top Gun waaay too many times too. But, man, that volleyball scene keeps me coming back for more!

Ro- Top Gun was always on channel 13, right? Along with Crush Grove and the Children of the Corn movies!

Christine- Thanks! Being a blonde was a lot of fun, but most likely because I had an ace fighter on my arm. ;)

Drew- Hello! Ack, yes, that movie gives me the heebie jeebies! I've only seen it once and that was way more than enough!
