So a few months back, Diane Meyer, Professor of Photography at LMU, asked me if I'd like to be a part of her massive project: "Without a Car in the World: 100 Car-less Angelenos Tell Stories of Living in LA." Um, YES!
The exhibit opens this weekend at the 18th Street Arts Center and I'm ridiculously excited. Also, a wee bit nervous. The BF says I looked sorta deer-in-the-headlights during my photo shoot. We shall see...

Oh wow, how awesome!! Being part of an artist's photography project to tell your story of being car-less is so much cooler than any press coverage! Can I view all of it online anywhere?
How exciting! Congrats!!
Wow, uber cool! Will we be able to see photos? You always look fabulous, so I'm sure you have no worries on that end.
I'm not sure if Prof. Meyer will show her series in its entirety online--I hope she does! Buut, since I'll be there this weekend, I'll snap a phone camera pic on mine. :)
How absolutely exciting for you. Congratulations!!!
Congratulations Rosemary!
I know it must not be easy bussing it everywhere, but you've got a great blog and now, a little part in a nice exhibit... :)
I was there and it was jammed. Even tho you're .000000126 percent of LA population, you and the other "Car-Less in LA" people are on to something.
Christine- Thanks!
Denise- Thank you, thank you! You're right, busing is not super easy, but had it not been for the bus, I'd not have this blog or be a part of the exhibit. So, I'm thankful for that.
K- Glad you went! When I was there, it was a light crowd but when I left around 630, the group really started growing.
